See the 12 months supersport card on ebay for around 234. Anyone have a cheaper source?

Thats actually a pretty good price at the mo
With the season about to start and ART losing the rights theyve nearly doubled recently and may drop as the season progresses. My local store is doing them for 390 for 12 months, 260 for 6months (290 including movies etc)
As it was asked elsewhere they also recommend a 1m dish for DigitAlb in Dublin

Went ahead and ordered it. Can get all the digitalb channels no hassle here in Roscommon on my 1m.

Was thinking of ordering off ebay aswell, the one I was looking at states it will activate the card next year at no extra cost, is this the one you ordered, or do they all offer that?

Yup, I ordered that bundle last night (LINK)

I'll report back on how good (or bad ) the seller is.

I received the box and card today, surprised it came so quick!

However when I go into my Subscription Status I get:
    Name Start Date End Date
    Digit ALB 01 AUG 07 31 AUG 07
                   17 AUG 07 18 AUG 07

    SuperSport 01 AUG 07 31 AUG 07
                  17 AUG 07 19 AUG 07

Does this mean the card isn't activated? All DigitALB channels work atm, though I'm presuming it's a "free view" or something (for 1 day, as per end date above).

i got mine from Goldwafer.com . I emailed them to get it activated. The first 24 hours are freeview. It took bout 24 hours for all channels to be activated. The signal takes between 5 to 12 hours to be sent ,and is sent for around two days. Or so ive been told by email.

Sure enough, at 11pm (midnight in Albania?), all the other channels now show "No Access". :(

Sport is still on atm, though presumably until 11pm tomorrow. I have emailed the eBayer who said they will reactivate the card... No change in Subscription Status atm.

My SuperSport channels are still active! Dates haven't changed however. I'm thinking now that I should be looking at the top date, and not the 2nd date. IE. 01 AUG 07 to 31 AUG 07. I have read that the digitalb cards update monthly.

I'm now presuming that the 2nd dates are for the freeview periods.

BTW, I've the same box and dish as yourself, though 80cm is only grand if weather is dry, so I have ordered a Triax 110cm (Triax don't do a 1m size).

Is your card still active? What date have you on top row for Supersport?

it says: Preview. start date 17 aug 07. end date 18 aug 07.
ive paid for gold subscription. Not too happy bout this:mad:
My sport channels are still working

Ah, you've the Gold package. That would explain why you were told to leave the box on DIGI+. (for Supersport, the box needs to be left on Premier1).

Report back on how you get on.

Byte , im back up and running again. When i check the status there is no mention of freeview. Thats good i suppose. Im getting around 72% all the time on my 80 cm dish and box. Only once has it broken up on me. That time it really pi$$ed down.

Good to see you've it back up and running again! :)

Out of curiousity (and sorry for going slightly OT), but what do you think of the other Digitalb channels (not sport channels)? I didn't spend much time looking at the channels for the 24 hours I had them, though the movie channels seem pretty good.

some good movies on for sure. The good thing is that they will show any kind of movie during the day. I was watching The Usual Suspects last Saturday morning.I cant find any site yet with tv listings. So its a bit hit and miss. I only got the six month package, just to see what its like. Ill decide if its worth it at the end of six months

Alsat have said that they have 2 Digitalb listing sites.

    digitalblisting.com for Sport
    digitalblisting.info for Movies.

At the moment though, both sites are down. So check again later maybe.
