    The question is pretty much specified in the title. I did get my Ds in Japan if that makes any difference

    What type of router ans service provider have you?

    It makes a big difference - I could not connect with one wireless router despite trying a thousand things - when I got an eircom wireless it was a piece of piss

    yup eircom is very confusing to set up but a long while ago there was a post saying how to set up the internet on a ds with eircom but it might be a very long way back in the nintendo forum here so you might have to look

    A few weeks ago when I was setting it up (eircom as well), I found this thread helped. After entering all my details it still wouldn't work for me until I noticed in the last post that I had to set the IP address as the gateway.

    I ave an ericm wireles and it wasstraightforward enough - go to the connectins settings in your online game - it will deect your router and ask you for wep key - you will have a wep key generator on the disk that came with the router - enter he wep key ans you should be fine.
