I was wondering if anyone has done this course, the part time LLB in Irish Law in Griffith, I am beginning in September. I was hoping someone could tell me how the lecturers are, the assignments, and the exams. I'm not looking for answers now, just a general chat about the course.

    Any opinions would be appreciated.

Yeah - I did it part time. Its a different kettle of fish to the full time course, ou are under an awful lot of pressure time wise. In fact, if I could give you any advice it would be to plan everything, and read as many articles as you can, no need to know them inside out, and if you can't understand something in them skip over it.

Also - nutshells. If you were to read these before the more comprehensive text books it will give you a basic understanding of the core issues.

I thought the two heads of the school were brilliant, couldn't sing their praises loud enough!

Good luck with the course, getting the LLB is very rewarding, no matter how long it takes!

Thanks very much for your replies especially Cycleoin. Can I ask, are you finished or still attending. Also, I'm a legal secretary, did you work while you did the course.

The reading reading part scares me while working full time, but I feel at an advantage working in law already.

Cycleoin: How did you find your assignments, I note from the calendar that there's a week in November designated to assignments. Does this mean that theres only really the one assignment each for say, tort & contract? Or are there constant work sheets.

Also one more question ( thanks guys) Are there any hidden costs? Is the registration fee included in the 5G?

Your soul? Everything that makes you human? Being able to watch American legal dramas without annoying everyone else in the room?
