Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I have seen a finance graduate position advertised by tesco. the programme is 18 months long, does this mean after 18 months you would be a qualified accountant? as ACCA/ACA require 3/3.5 years training to become qualified.

    thanks for the info?

I don't really know to be honest but I doubt you'd be qualified in that short a period of time.

Just thought i'd chip in to say that I have heard the CIMA qualification is really a very good qualification to have behind you. And i'm not CIMA! So even if it is 3+ years to qualify it's well worth doing.

you need 3 years signed off practical experience for CIMA before you can become a member, same as ACCA
