OK, with NTL constantly long-fingering their PVR (and it'll probably never be available for MMDS customers like me) I'm thinking of taking advantage of the current Sky+ free box offer.

I'm aware that you can't record any channels not listed on Sky's EPG, but can anyone tell me which major channels this includes - is it all the BBC and ITV channels?

Also, does the fact they're not listed on the EPG mean that there is no onscreen listing of programmes on the likes of CBeebies and CBBC? (now and next like on the NTL epg).

None of the ITV channels are on the EPG, but BBC1 and BBC2 are (no BBC3 or BBC4)

they aren't listed on the EPG but once you go to view the channel pressing select will get you now and next, but you can't scroll it as far as i know.

Correct. Literally only what's on now and what's on next when it comes to "Other Channels". The channels that are part of the EPG have full 7 days listings.
