all they do is use a big pump and jet hose to break down alll the "material" thats blocking your drain.
im not sure what you expect them to do, but any drain clearing company will do the above.

    Hi
We haven't had a great level of service fron Dyno. We've now spent a lot of money and still have the same problem. What we get now is'well we've unblocked your drain' what we wanted was a solution not someone to clear up the symptom.

they are not in the drain repair business so it is unfair to malign them in a public forum for a service they dont provide. They offer a video camera service also which will show u what they problem is.

Can you elaborate? Dyno provide a number of services, but in regard to drains, these include blockage clearance, draining (tank service) and camera (inspection). They do not AFAIK provide any repair services. if Dyno Rod have removed the blockage (symptom), can you not determine what caused the blockage in the first place?

Just to be clear too_sleepy, Dyno-rod over a number of services as described above and I would be happy too say that they do a good job of it too. They don't however provide a service which offers to fix the problem that causes blockages, but to actually do the unblocking.

It would be the same as calling the fire brigade to put a fire out and the expecting them to repair the damage i.e. a crazy idea.

    Hi

Please relax guys. This is a public forum and a user asked for our experiences with Dyno. My experience was not good. I don't see why anyone would have an issue with me reporting that.

Maybe my expectations of them were too high. I did expect them to unblock a drain for me. They did that very well initially.
The drain blocked again a few weeks later and we had a lot of trouble getting them back. Our garden was covered in sewage and they refused to come out for a few days. The Dyno guy said it's nothing to do with him, the engineer will decide when to call, as it was a weekend he was unlikely to cover a call-back when there was new business for him. The enginner was very honest, and confirmed that if it was a new call he would have called out.
We moved to a relatives house for that weekend and the guys came around a few days later. The drain was unblocked again but we were told they would'nt keep coming back to unblock a drain.

This is when I expected them to suggest a solution.

This is from the Dyno web site:
"the ability to provide a solution to any and every drainage problem. From dealing with the simplest blockage to installing new drains without excavation, we do it all."

So please excuse me for having the expectation that they would find a solution for my blocked drains.

    Hi All,

this thread has come to our attention and we wish to clarify that we are committed to looking after our customers from discovery of a drain problem right through to when it has been resolved. In recent years we have developed our drain repair services in response to this demand by our customers I am glad to say that these are now available nationwide. However, this may not have been a service which we provided in the locality of the above poster at the time of posting.

We regret the experience of the above poster and can assure that this will not be an issue for future customers. Finally, we extend an invitation to the poster to contact us to discuss the particulars of their job to see if there is something we can do to help.

    Regards,

    Sam Crowley
