hi, i am hoping you can help me out with a bit of advice. i am looking to extend a mates wireless network (he currently has a desktop outside of the range of the current wireless broadband router). I have dug up a wireless bridge on komplett

    http://tinyurl.com/34tbbc

do ye reckon it would be as simple as buying this and plugging it into a small wired switch at the periphery of the range of the current wireless BB router? I remember extending my own wireless network before with a wireless router and i had to switch off DHCP and set it to bridging mode, I am kinda assuming since this is a designated bridge I wont have to do this?

    any thoughts? Thanks.

Stay clear of Belkin gear! I have the same setup at home. Using a Linksys bridge. It connects to the router in the hall [a good thick four walls away and well over 10 m]. Around 80% quality for the connection. It's connected to a Linksys router [WRT54GS] in bridge mode so it's acting like a switch. I connect all network devices to this: NAS, print server, PC, etc.

It should be that simple, yes. My first one died though!
