    Hey,
i hope someone can help me here. I got Adobe photoshop cs3 for my birthday off a friend. He bought the actual package which stunned me due to its high price. Anywho, i used it for about two weeks and it worked fine, installed fine and all.
But recently it's been effing up on me..The first time this "licensing" problem came up i went to the Adobe website and followed its guidelines there. That seemed to work. But now, it's happening again and i've ran outta solutions. I'd well appreciate some help, if anyone can it'd be great.
I'll attach the pop up that appears when i try to run Photoshop. It tells me this every time now and then just quits. And if my system specs are required; Windows XP, 768mb PC2100, and 1.8Ghz Athlon

    xx

So you've installed a licensed copy ... there should be some form of support with that ... give adobe a buzz ?

Or else as it says try reinstalling it ?

This sounds familiar, I had a slight problem with another app which would not let me install it because of previous licensing issues of a trial version which I used to see if I wanted it or not. I had trouble installing the new application as the trial versions temp license conflicted with the new one (I presume).

I uninstalled the applications old and new, and used a free reg cleaner called 'ccleaner' to 'clean my reg and 'fix issues' (it is easy to use and a small download). Then I reinstalled the application and it worked just fine. Hope that helps if not then try this link:

    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb401528&sliceId=2

Seems to be a common enough problem.

That link is actually the one i used the first time this happened. However i've found a second link in the site which i'm using, and so far the fixing is going well. I appreciate your help thaanks! Yeah, if it's common i hope that don't mean it will happen again!
The link i used is this; http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402003&sliceId=1
it looks easy enough, so i hope it works
