Was at a local agricultural show today taking a few shots.
Heres my favourites of the bunch.

I'm not overly keen on my B&W conversion technique to be honest but its the best ive got at the moment.
Anyway any comments are more than welcome, be they good bad or indifferent.

Well, it looks like a good op for shots. There's certainally some great characters there.

However, I think that the gentleman on the right in the first could be burnt in a little more, he's looking a bit grey. I;m not gone in the vignetting in it either.

The second one needs the vignetting much stronger than what's there & I think it's a wee bit too noisy too. I like the last one, but possibly some vignetting could emphasise the two men more?

Looking forward to seeing more of them - anything interesting in colour?

Cheers fajitas, to be honest i didnt want to vignette the 1st one at all but i had a big bright white patch in the top right which i just couldnt seem to get get rid of at all.

Again on the second one, i wanted to vignette a little to emphasise the two men...but didnt want to completely black out the cow in the background who is watching me!

The third one could possibly do with vignetting, it was the first shot i took today and i didnt quite get the framing right to be honest.

I was trying to go for the "documentary" look which i always feel B&W suits better, so i was kinda shooting with that in mind.
Still going through the RAW images at the minute (ive only just started shooting raw so its a whole new world for me) ill get them up if i find anything interested.

Tbh, I didn't even notice the cow in the second! I'd say go with a stronger vignette in it...but then again, I like my vignetting

    Did you shoot much?

Looks promising, so far. But please, be a little more gentle with that burning and vignetting. It is a little "too much" for my tender eyes :-)
Seriously, there is something in the pictures, so be gentle, please.

Not too much, i only had about an hour before i had to run off elsewhere again...so about 60,70 shots really. If i can get 10 useable shots ill be more than happy!

Thonda, cheers...ill try and be more delicate in the future :D

Coupl'a colour ones for ya Fajitas.
Not really the same style though, and i think ive went overboard with the sliders in the second one.
