Im looking for information on irish surnames where they come from and general history of irish familys clans etc etc.... are there any web sites where i can get this info or do i have to search through books

I found this book to be quite good. 'Edward Mac Lysaght, Irish families: their names, arms and origins'
Most names seem to be listed. He has written lots of books Irish surnames and most of his books are in the local libraries.
