At Dregin's Request

Hi,

I'm posting this on behalf of dregin who got banned there a while ago for being a twit and getting drunk and posting.

He has since emailed admins and pm'ed and all that (and for some reason can't post in Prison) and asked me to post this for him to bring that to the attention of whoever it is that's in charge of deciding if he gets unbanned or not.

He would very much like to and has explained what he has done and apologised for it a few times already in emails/etc and has gotten no reply to any of these and no action has been taken

Pfft... I've posted drunk countless times, and never acted the twit and got myself banned. Hell, I'll probably have a few beers later, come back on and post. That's hardly an excuse I'd believe.

If it's a temporary ban, just suck it up and learn your lesson.

If it's a permanent ban, then I'd say that's probably a bit much.

If he was banned how did he PM? Never been banned myself but I would have though PM'ing was impossible? And how come most banned people can't post in prison bar those banned by Gordon the Greek or if you are Polimki? Whats that all about?!?

I didn't see an email anyway. His ban appears to be permanent. What exactly did he do?

Well it looks like someone got control of his account.

If someone got control of my account and was acting the muppet with it, I'd like to be banned until I got things sorted out.

I think he was permabanned for this.

He was just banned for that.
And the PM was on IRC, not on boards, my mistake.
He says he emailed webgroup or webmaster at boards via the contact us form, explaining his actions there.

Can an admin check that perhaps? Or tell me who he has to email and he'll do so once he knows who to go to.

Prison is broken hence doesn't seem to allow access to newly banned users.
