    Just a quick question:

    Is "Dia duit/daoibh" actually used by native Gaelgóirí? If so, would it be in some sort of formal context/register?

    As far as I know it is used by all- the new idea of "hallo" as seen on TG4 isn't really seen as Irish, therefore Dia dhuit is the one way of saying hello.

    In an informal setting it may be bypassed with something like "conas atá?"
