    Hi all,

I am looking to head to new york or boston in earl to mid september.

The cheapest direct flight I can see is abot €477 return with aer lingus.

Is anybody aware of any cheaper way to get there? Perhaps some travel agents do deals with hoels etc...

    Any help/advise appreciated.

At this late stage, I doubt they'll get much cheaper.

Try out delta.com and continental.com for flights to New York to see if they're any cheaper.

delta are doing very cheap return flught at present in to JFK €371 there at for mid sept I would go with them if i were you. also try usairways there also cheap and good. aerlignsu is more expensive than delta due to their high fule surcharges.

This site is fairly good at finding bargins http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/login

Althought I doubt you'll beat delta prices. Even €477 with EI ain't too bad.

American holidays do packges (I've never used them) http://www.americanholidays.com/content/amhols/index.html

I flew recently with Delta to Atlanta from Dublin and I thought they were very good... Good service, food quality was good.. Nice staff etc. If they are cheaper than aer lingus, I would go with them to be honest.

I just booked a return flight to chicago for about €470 after tax with United Airlines, might be worth checking them out.

Try booking each leg "one way" that way you get quoted the USA - IRL fare in Dollars :D . This works on the Aer Lingus site not sure about the others.

Also check out british airways site... I was looking there yesterday and they had some very competitive rates.... Only thing is that you have to go via London...
