2 great contrasting articles in Sunday Bus Post on AIB and C&C.

I was particularly impressed with the reports on AIB's recent results and Eugene Sheehy's future plans. A number of interesting points including " our (AIB) job is to find risk", the € 400mio IT investment programme with capacity to handle x3 times AIB current size , and the banks plans to significantly expand eastwards etc etc.

More gloomy were the reports on recent turbulence with C&C, 2 profit warnings, falling sales weather and increased competition, layoffs, suspension of share buyback etc etc with a severe hammering of share price.
Mid year results not due until Oct but it all seems pretty veunerable. I do think Maurice Pratt will turn things around, but the big Q is when will the SP bottom out?
