As the title says Sony has confirmed it wil end the current PS3 ''starter pack'' deal in Australia on August 31st or earlier if current stocks run out.

Sony has yet to confirm when this is to take effect else where, but the US time is nearly up on this deal aswell so get them while you can if your interested.

Rumor has it when this deal ends the 80GB PS3 will sell for €629 by itself, so back to square one with a slightly bigger hard drive.

    Just a little heads up.

I think the reason there is no ''current'' time limit in the EU is because Sony have a lot more of 60Gb stock to shift. In Australia the PS3 is outselling the 360 so they must be eating them up big time down under.

The EU will probably be the last territory to be stocked with the 80Gb models.
