HI All. Can anyone here in the know recommend a Wifi aerial that would pickup a wifi signal from a longer distance than the wifi aerial built into my laptop. Thanks. Cranoo :D

You could try this wireless bridge which connects to the ethernet port on your laptop. You configure the device using your web browser. The thing is it needs to be connected to the mains and it's hardly portable. However, it should be better at picking up wireless networks.

Assuming you're not stealing bandwidth from someone, you could also try a wireless repeater in your place or try a different router with aims to increase wireless coverage.
