The Moyalty Show is on next Sunday (12th August). Is anyone from here going to be making an appearance? I'll be at it as a spectator, unless the classify a '90 Micra as a 'classic' car! :D

wheres moynalty? is it a big enough show to be worth a trip from Cork?

It's just a few miles north of Kells in Co. Meath. It's a fairly big show. The car section is usually quite large, it tends to grow over the years. There is alot of other stuff at it too, vintage threshing, autojumble, among other things.

I've been going to Moynalty for a couple of years now. They could have upto 800-1000cars and upto 500tractors. It's a great day out for all the family

500 tractors puts me off abit but i still might go....

Is there any buying and selling done at these shows ?

Do you need to book in advance or pay a fee to bring your car ?

Indeed, their is usually quite a large autojumble at it.

My cousin & uncle usually bring stationary engines to it, and they don't book in advance. Don't know if the same situation is true for a vehicle though.
