Tampere, Finland Airport question

    Hi

    I'm flying to Tampere with Ryanair. To those who have been there before...I've read that Ryanair uses the older Terminal 2. Can you remember if they have a border control/passport check there or is it just walk through like BMI's Heathrow leg?

    Also, anyone ever had any trouble with the Ryanair Tampere flight, example flight being cancelled or extremely late or the likes? On tight schedule, so can't afford an extra day in case of trouble...

    The passport check in Tampere is as soon as you get off the plane; its either before you get your bags or right after it (i can't remember exactly though), but its in the same little terminal building anyway.

    I flew to Tampere with Ryanair in February and had no problems.
