Can I increase the range of my Netopia 3347WG?

    Hi,

    I have a Netopia 3347WG and I need to increase its range so that friends living 4 floors above can benefit from my connection.
    Is this possible?

    Precision: when the modem was installed at the 4th floor, I could use that connection with my HP Compaq nc6320 at the ground floor. The problem is that now the telephone line has been moved to the ground floor (my place) and my friends can't catch the signal with their Acer laptop.

    Precision #2, the modem as well as the laptop that is trying to catch its signal are on the same side of the building, behind windows and there is another building in front of ours, some 20 meters (60 ft) away.

    Thanks in advance. We don't feel like paying two connections...

    Should take less than half an hour to make one of these. Attach & direct towards your friend's place.

    Your own signal may be reduced, but because you are closer to the router, it should still be good enough.
