    Hi,
I ordered a badminton racket online and out has been shipped. It was sent with USPS Global Express Mail. This is the status from the USPS website.

Bullet Arrived Abroad, August 03, 2007, 3:01 pm, IRELAND
Bullet International Dispatch, August 02, 2007, 1:21 pm, Chicago (O'Hare) AMC
Bullet Enroute, August 02, 2007, 1:19 pm, CHICAGO, IL 60666
Bullet Arrival at Unit, August 01, 2007, 6:42 pm, FOX VALLEY, IL 60599
Bullet Acceptance, August 01, 2007, 4:25 pm, NAPERVILLE, IL 60564

By chance i entered my tracking number on the An Post website and it gave me the following information.

    Activity

    Location

    Date

ARRIVED PORTLAOISE OVR CO LAOIS 3 August 07

I have never seen "ovr co laois" on anything i ever tracked before. Does anybody know what thats about? Is my item being held up in customs or something, will that delay my delivery??
    Any info would be great!
    Thanks :)

what makes you think there is a delay? it shipped from the states on wednesday and arrived in ireland on friday. seems pretty good to me. you'll probably get it on monday or tuesday.

    That looks about right..
Once it disappears from the USPS website, it appears on the An Post website.
If you phone An Post parcel tracking, they will tell you the Irish tracking number (they apply a new tracking number when the package arrives in Ireland) and they'll give you a better indication of when it will be delivered. Probably Tuesday though. If it was stuck in customs, it would say that.

it arrived on Friday afternoon at An Post main overseas mail reception centre in Portlaoise. (It is the main mails centre for all post in Ireland) It then will be sent to local sorting office and delivered to you on Tuesday unless customs want to inspect it (unlikely if paperwork is attached).
