New singer/ but experienced musician seeks punk/pop punk band

    Whats the craic
    Ye so Im based in North Dublin, 19 y/o, just new to singing.. was a drummer for a year and a half but giving that a teeny break now to concentrate on the singing, Ive loads of gig experience. I always thought I had the personality of a lead singer so i thought id try singing out for a bit... did a few gigs and now Im hooked

    Im looking to start a punk/pop punk band or join one if one already exists... male/female musicians whatever.. Just want to do something different really everything is indie indie indie these days..

    So if theres any musicians out there interested... give me a shout

    I dont write music just lyrics im looking for COMMITTED guitarists and a drummer who hopefully have a few things wirtten
    Want to be serious about this band, but at the same time want to have fun too....

    Listening to bands like Lost Prophets and The Used.... and pop punk bands like Steer Clear and The Starting Line...

    Story man? I'm looking to get a new band going. Wouldn't exactly be punk but I'm not against having a punk influence in the band. I'd be into all the usual classic rock bands. I'm not mad into punk but I love its energy!!! Theres myself and the lead guitarist from my previous band so far.

    Need drummer to complete my hardcore/punk/post-hardcore band....
    influcences are wide... range across rise against, comeback kid, hatebreed, with honor, rancid, black flag, thrice, at the drive-in, the mars volta.

    Right now the bassist is off on holidays, will be back next month... and i'm slightly busy with my coll exams... But should be all up and ready to go by sep..

    We're not really influenced by pop-punk bands like greenday, alkaline trio, blink, BFS etc.
    Our music is more towards the hardcore side.. which a political, social, resistance theme to it...

    15 y//o female drumming for like 3 years now minus the last 6 motnhs or so bu get back into it reel quick if i get a band

    also guitarist for 2 years

    interested at all??
