I have a problem which I know will seem trivial to many but is causing me great embarisment and causing unhappiness to spread through out my life.

When my self and my girlfriend make love I can only be described as sweaty as a pig. So drenched that sweat drips from me to her. I know that some will say your not doing it right unless your sweating but this is a extreme. I've started to notice that I'm dryer steping out of the shower that after sex.

Is there anyone who can help with this. who knows of some breathing methods or pills I can take.We have are conditioning and also have a fan in the room. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm starting to dread the nights

    Help!

    How fit are you OP?

That may have something to do with it.
Also, how energetically do you make love?. Try slowing it all down, it has many benefits apart from reducing the amount of sweat.

Are you the kind of person who gets sweaty with any physical exercise?

First, does it bother your gf? If not, then look on it as part of the fun, maybe. Keep a towel handy, and grin about it? Not ideal, but if you cant fix the sweating youll have to alter your attitude to it.

I have heard that a particular vitamin can help with night sweats, but I dont know much about it, youll have to research that a bit.

OP I wouldn't worry about sweating during sex, its all part of it.....

Now this may sound like a stupid question, but are you having sex under or above the covers? Maybe cool the room down before hand, leave a window open or get a fan?

dont eat an hour or two before you do it.
    also leave window open

I'm of average fitness I'd say for a guy in his early 20s. we have got a fan and it has helped. My gf says that it does not bother her but I can see her face when I start to drip and she is really not impressed. I will remember about eating before hand also.

Normally "I'm of average fitness" means "I haven't had any particular problems, but I'm not actually fit either".

Increasing your fitness levels will generally improve your body's ability to take physical exertion in your stride.

As well as slowing things down you could also try things that put more of the physical effort onto her, like her being on top.

If your sweating is particularly intense, and especially if you find that you sweat a lot in other cases, it might be a good idea to talk to your doctor about the possibility of your suffering from hyperhidrosis which can be treated and which can also be worth investigating as a possible symptom of something else going on.

'In my case average fitness means that I'm quite fit and active and not in any way over weight but also smoke.

Thank you its good to know that a doctor can help.'

smoking also causes sweting, it prevents muscles from getting ****** and forces them to overheat, causeing the body to swet to cool them down.

Try not smoking for an hour or two before sex. Also should help stamina!

I realise this doesn't help answer the question why, but the fitter you are, the more effectively you keep your body cool - so the more you sweat!

Sweating heavily does not mean you are unfit by any stretch of the imagination.

if it doesn't bother her then make light of the situation for example wipe your brow and say "god damn! you are HOT!" or something similar
