help to locate Astra 28.2

I bought a silvercrest digital satellite receiver SL 65/12 recently. it had a small dish with it so I got a larger universal dish instead. The trouble is I can't locate Astra 28.2 with it. Astra 19.2 comes in very well and some of the chanels appear on the astra 28.2 list such as BBC world, Sky news, euronews etc. It even tells me that BBC london has a good signal intensity and signal quality (75% each) but no picture. I have run auto searches too. Can any one tell me whats going on. Have I actually got astra 28.2 or is there a crossover signal from astra 19.2 giving me a false reading? I'm in wicklow if you know the coordinates for astra 28.2E for this locality. I was on igp.net for antenna alignment info. But it hasn't helped so far.
    Frustrating!

The trouble you are encountering is that some transponder numbers are the same for both sats hence why you get an intensity reading. Try what Tony says, nice and slowly does it.

As Tony and Driver said above. This is a common problem/question asked by SL65 owners for the reason explained and a slightly confusing display.
These steps should help you find it quickly
Begin by marking your current dish direction (Astra1) ie either note a landmark or point on horizon in the direction your dish is pointing or put broom handle etc on ground in front of dish pointing this direction.
    This is 19e.
You want about 9 degrees further east ie left and a lower inclination ie dish lowered slightly.
Set your receiver to BBC1 (no pic but strong signal)
Press Info for signal strength, press 1 for satbeeper.
    Lower dish slightly.
Rotate left until you get signal tone/picture again. If nothing, return to 19 again, lower dish more then repeat.
You will find this easier to find with the smaller dish but get a weaker signal. BBC1 is one of the stronger signals so easier to find. A larger dish is harder to allign exactly but will give much stronger signal.
    Good luck, patience and perseverance.

Thanks to all for your help. The trouble ended up being a large tall tree, it blocked the astra 28 path when I moved it to the left and down a few degrees, so we took the dish to a greater height and successfully got what we were looking for. We of course now enjoy the BBC etc. Thanks again.:)
