I dont think those storage units plug into your camera, you plug your full card into it and download to it. I would think that havin cards is a better bet you can always chimp the results from each day and erase the bad ones and go again with the same card, memory is so cheap now.
try memoryc.com they are in Kildare and the card will be on your doorstep the next day following early ordering( at least mine was )

Buy your memory cards in the States....or your storage device. You'll save, save, save......

Ill have to look on ebay.. see if I can find anything cheap, I dont mind going for memory cards as they will be handy and easy to carry around.. I was thinking of 3X2GB or 2X4GB whichever is cheaper!

I used memoryconfigurator before and liked them!

Memoryconfigurator, MemoryC or shop4memory, all the same company in Celbridge.

MX2.co.uk and SVP.co.uk are quite good also.

I second that. When you arrive, take a trip to B&H. Buy a few Sandisk cards. Compare prices before you go.

Normaly the memory cards are cheaper then here, but more expensive then ebay, so its up to you, if you have one Ipod you always can get the card reader, and get urself a smaller memory card and u transfer the pics to the ipod ;)

You need "like" a card reader and laptop.
Given your circumstances, buy the cards, but just spend the money and buy a reputable brand.

There is a special card reader for the Ipod, with the ipod connection...
    You have some examples here...
