Hi, I've booked flights to London for the 8 September to the 11th for 3 people. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any central hotels that are quite cheap. Also if anyone could recommend any good sites for booking london hotels for cheap. I've already tried laterooms.com but couldn't find anything particularly cheap. Thanks.

Anywhere really as long as it's central and near a good tube station. I stayed in King's Cross last time I was there but I can't seem to get a good price on any hotels in that area now.

    try londontown.com for offers.

In all honesty you are not going to get anything too cheap and if you di it is probably a ****hole. The Hoxton Hotel sometimes has some good offers on.

dunno if you would be dead against hostels but we stayed here just after it opened in march and it was super cheap really clean and well located...check it out:

stayed in this one too....its cheap but not nearly as clean as the last one...but it is in the best location possible IMO:

    Try www.visitlondon.com
    It's the offical tourist board.
Click on the london hotels link to see current "cheap" offers from hotels.
Some very nice 4 and 5 star hotels at excellent rates.
    I used it, very good.

We stayed in Jurys, Islington. Just about 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross, we booked with www.suprerbreak.com
Although I think the premier travel inns have much more comfortable rooms and they are quite reasonable.

Find the nearest Ibis Hotel to where you want to stay - they're usually cheap and cheerful and usually situated somewhere central - I've stayed in several in Europe and the one beside the Excel centre in Docklands and I always found them good (and cheap!)

Try the some of the Universities such as LSE, they have good value and good locations
