I'm surprised these guys haven't made more of an apperance on these boards, one of the best bands in the US at the minute, any other fans around here?

Their last album Boys and Girls in America is class, imo. It's where Springsteen would have gone had he not ended up derailed by lawsuits in the mid 1970's. (Though considering what followed, that in itslef may be no bad thing).

Yeah, their new cd is pretty good, have been playing it quite a bit love the first track especially great lyrics on it. Think all you need by them is one cd as their previous one sounds nearly like a photocopy

Really? I've all 3 albums and can see definate progression how the band have developed over the few years. There's certain things that you can't change, considering the vocal style Finn has, but there's definately a progression musically and lyrically. The songs are a lot more focused on the more recent album.

They played an awful gig by all accounts in the TBMC a few months ago. They're nothing spcial in my opinion. And their songs just blend to sameness. Pedestrian at best.

Saw them recently thought they were one of the most bland paint by numbers rock bands ever seen.
Then again I dont like Springsteen so im unlikly to like a tribute band to him
