So what are your plans for the weekend? I'm playing Courtown on Sunday morning (not sure if it's a 4ball or singles comp), and then the O'Meara course in Carton on Monday morning in a 4-person team event.

    Her indoors not happy!! :D

Lookin forward to my weekend though;)

V-Par tomorrow and 4-ball betterball (I think!) on Sunday. Both at 8:30! I'll have to make up for my lack of beer tonight and sat on Sunday watching the hurling! Jeez everybody is playing twice over the weekend. I don't get to do that too often!

Playing a social round (i don't think there is a comp on) on Saturday 9am, haven't played all week.
Playing in a Senior Scratch Cup on Sunday am, the first one in my club and my first one ever too... spend the rest of the day watching hurling on the tv.... happy days. Reckon I'll be golfed out and no chance on Monday.

Playing in Gowran Park near Kilkenny, open week starts Saturday August 11th

How did everyone get on then?

-I had 31 points at Headfort on saturday - pretty poor.

-Stableford on Sunday was cancelled due to the weather.

No golf for me over the weekend due to the bad weather. We decided against playing in Courtown as the rain was torrential on Sat morning, and Carton was closed yesterday.

I was like a lunatic at home yesterday. Haven't played in 12 days now.

disaster on saturday, 77 nett. one triumph, eagled the 18th, par 5 into wind, pond in front of green, driver and 18* rescue to 6 feet. lads watchin on balcony cheered, I felt like a pro.

scratch cup yesterday, finished with 74 nett, double bogeyed 16 with OOB. three stupid 3 putts, all were down hill and bombed them past. 25 yrds short of par 5 9th in 2, finished with a 6, that gets me. My struggle continues. serious practice tonight, the rot has to stop. last 10 games of golf, 7 ".1s" back

off 10 (9.7) by the way, society h/cap of 7!
