Vodafone 3g Problem

    Hey, im helping a friend out with his laptop. Basicly he got vodafone 3g and he set it up according to the setup guidelines.

    He wasnt not prompted to put in a puck code or pin or anything (which it says on the manual). I can conenct to the 3g network on his laptop and send SMS messages, but when we go to use the internet it wont connect to anything.

    Im not really firmilliar with the workings of 3g, but i assume it needs to go through a gateway that isnt the same ip as the laptop? Its saying the server ip is 0.0.0.0, which is a good indicator to the problem in my eyes. Am i ment to have a static ip for this?

    Any help would be greatly apreciated!!
