Villian is 50/12 over 70 hands. Calls alot obviously pre-flop. Often calls flop bet folds to turn bet. I put him on some sort of draw. Think my turn bet here is spew. Should I bet a bit more maybe 15 or 16? Or would some check. Anyway when I make a disguised good hand on the river what size value bet should I be making here. I have been beating up on him a bit from the button.
If I had not improved on the river I was going to check behind. Good or bad?
If he bet and no draws had come in I wasn't sure what I would do? How much would you be willing to call when this happens

usually i check behind on the turn but if hes folding to alot of 2nd barrells its fine i suppose.

checking behind on the river if you dont improve is fine as if he has a missed draw he's not calling a bet and he'll call you down for the times he has a weak ten/ace or whatever.

has he bet missed draws before? if so i call a river bet up to maybe 30ish, if not i fold.

I don't raise into this guy with this hand given the stack sizes. I check back on the turn here, river, I bet pretty big since he's a station

checking the river would be awful. I even shove sometimes.

you shouldn't be trying to double-barrel stations when you have a hand (like on the turn here) that has some showdown value.

13 into ~20 is fine, I usually make my turn bets 14 so 13 is fine too.

I almost never 2nd barrel, and I definitely don't do it against a calling station. I'd want to be extremely confident he could fold a hand before I tried it. Your hand has SD value and if he has any ace he is NEVER folding so I'd consider this bet spew.

Anyway when I make a disguised good hand on the river what size value bet should I be making here. I have been beating up on him a bit from the button.

Whatever you think he'll call is the answer. 31 into ~46 seems ok.

If I had not improved on the river I was going to check behind. Good or bad?

I don't think there's much value in firing a 3rd barrel as he's unlikely to fold any better hands. If my cbet gets called I'm usually shutting down so I'd check behind both the turn and river unimproved.

If he bet and no draws had come in I wasn't sure what I would do? How much would you be willing to call when this happens

This depends a little on his AF but the answer is not an awful lot. 50/12s are usually fairly passive so I doubt you'll see a bluff often enough to make a call.

i was answering his question which was "what would you do if you didnt improve on the river, ie didnt hit a 9"

obviously i never check the river when i hit the 9

edit - also note to self - stop double barrelling stations
