Thanks lads...I'm just back from the hospital now.
Irene and Aidan are both doing fine.

Honest to god...I never want to go through another night like that again.
I know any women who hear a guy say that are immediately all "Ahh sure what did you do only stand there and hold her hand"....but jeez...it was a very, very long and hard labour. It got complicated at the end, and if things had gone one way rather than the other, it might not have ended so nice.

Watching someone you love go through that is just emotionally and physically exhausting.

Anyway...enough of that...they're both fine and healthy, and I'm exhausted - but I have a 6 pack in the fridge!

I'd seriously recommend you ignore anything else I might post tonight...it will more than likely be pure, unadulterated, drink-generated bullsh1te
