how many courses in ireland??

hey guys, i've been doing a hell of a lot of traveling round ireland in the last few weeks and the amount of golf courses i've come across in my travels is unbelieveable! was just wondering if anybody knows how many courses there currently is in ireland??

Not sure of the exact number but the stat I always remember is 'over 300' which seems to get quoted a lot..

Not bad at all. He must have spent a few quid along the way eh!?! I suppose, with Opens and what not you can play alot of good courses cheaply.

Got a lot of invites to top courses also saves a few quid.
