Hibernian are offering a driving school for learner drivers where you get 10 lessons for €350 and 6 months free 'accompanied driver' status on your parents' insurance, providing that they are with Hibernian. And then a discount on your own insurance.

I was wondering does anybody have any experience with this? Are the instructors good? Is it one to one etc?

    Is this worth going for?

I did it. Not sure if it's the same deal, because it was sent to my dad as an offer and the discount only applies as a named driver on his car- I was a bit miffed to find out it doesn't apply when I get my own... but they said that the driving instructor reports back on how well you did and they take this into account if you want to get your own insurance.

The lessons were one-to-one and fairly standard I guess. I thought it was worth it- it was a great Christmas present anyway!
