Sorry if i'm in the wrong forum, but i've seen lots of ads for websites offering 3000+ channels for a single payment and its supposedly legal. You download software and can watch it live on a pc. I was wondering if anyone tried any of these and what channels you get from them?

    Thanks in advance...

I used TVUPlayer during the last World Cup to watch some matches, there ain't 3000 channels but there is usually between 10 & 20 depending on time of day, many are forign language tho.

You can get the software here:

Maybe not what you're looking for but google joost for a program offering free, legit tv.

Thanks for the replies, one of the site I was looking at was <<SNIP>>, looks great but I don't know whether to trust it, I can't seem to find anyone who's used it.

It doesn't look legit. Joost is probably the best. There is Babelgum aswell ( it's headquaters are in Dublin).

How much does Joost cost? It's a yearly subscription?

EDIT: I don't think live-tv-net is legit either. Any references to it on Yahoo! Answers have been removed.

Most of them aren't legit and require someone to stream it for you.

    Its all about rights...

Joost is free but still in Beta. I think you still need a friend invite to download it. Also not all of the channels are available here though.
