experence with back oredrs on musicstore.de?

im looking to order a item from musicstore.de but the item is on back order. the item is AFS75TD and i was wondering does anyone know how long it would typically take for it to come back in stock before its delivered?

The picture on musicstore is much darker for this guitar than thomann, but they both describe the same colour: ocean blue.

Musicstore are very helpful when your order is in stock but their vague backorder label or "on request" are generally not worth chasing.
Going by the link on thomann, the guitar will be in stock by the end of the month.

It amazes me why people post a question here that can only be answered accurately by the stores themselves. Backorder could be 5 days, could be 5 months, we sure as hell don't know how long that piece of string is.

From my own experience calling them up, doesn't matter who answers the only check they will do is read out loud the same page you are reading. They will promise to call you back with more info then forget about you as they are inundated with more callers.:rolleyes:

I had sent a message to them yesterday and got no reply, i sent another today so hopefully they'll get around to mailing me back... im just a bit impatient...

The truth of the matter is that the supplier has NO idea when it will be restocked. Just like the distributor doesnt know when they will receive any from the manufacturer and in my experience the manufacturer doesn't know when then they will receive the components to make one. See where I'm going with this one?;)

if the item is available on request it will take ona verage 1 month-3 months factis they dont know

i ordered stuff for a friend of mine and it took about 2 months

thanks very much lads, i had a mail from them thismorning and they didnt give me exact time but they said that they had 2 units coming in mid September and they were already sold so it will be a while. cheers for the good replys'..

i ordered a deluxe strat from them and was told 4 different shipping times,no emails i had to contact them all the time.but at there prices i was prepared to wait.the only way is to ring them.jens was the guy i dealt with.
