Ironing boards on the boots of saloon cars new craze???

was going to work this moring and i passed 2 Honda Civics with Neons underneath and Blacked out windows and what looked like an Ironing Board stuck on the boot .....can anyone explain to me why they do this ??
is it so they can iron their suit when there outside the court to answer all the dangerous driving summons ??????
