So yeah - lets see the photo edits of Sylar and is new spock ears.

And how dare he eat Leonard Neemoy's brain!

Yeah, it's been confirmed. And Leonard Nimoy will also be playing Spock in the film.. presumably reminiscing about his younger brain-eating days.

Not sure I like the idea of a flash back story, if that's what it is, but we'll have to wait and see.

no, i dont mind a flash back because its not like a bad flash back episode of something, its flashing back to something we know nothing about except that when he was at the academy kirk re-programed the kobyai Oshai Marau to make it possible to rescure it

But as a plot device it tends to weaken the impact and immersiveness of a story, imo. I mean obviously with this one we already know the 'outcome' of the story so to speak (like he's obviously not going to die, and eventually he's going to get on board the Enterprise) but playing it out as a flashback will just draw even more attention to that already unwelcome lack of mystery.

I'll reserve final judgment though. Could be a great script. Maybe it's not a flashback at all.. time-travel story maybe? Or it could just suck for a whole different set of reasons.

As for Sylar as Spock, I'm happy enough with the casting.

I think the jury on this is still out, the story could be a heap of crap,
I hope it'll be good as the last Startrek movie almost killed off the franchise :(

Personally I think he looks the part (Zachary Quinto)

yeah...what was up with that Nemisis ****e anyway. If you're going to include Romulans (which have always been overlooked to the greater extent) Id much prefer to see some direct conflict. Always talking about how deadly Romulan Warships are but then we hardly ever see them. And dont tell me thats because they cloak - thats bull.
