    I have to do supplemental exams in 2 subjects in sept due to the stupid compensation rules!:mad: lol Is it true that they set and mark the supplemental's harder then the end of year exams?

    In fact, the opposite might be true.

    A good idea would be to drop into the lecturers who will be setting the paper for the supplementals (best to e-mail ahead, of course) who will then go over your paper with you from the annual exams.

    Sometimes some lecturers have said the magic words 'it shouldn't be any different from the June exam, study that and you'll be grand'.

    lecturer depended, but it certainly wouldn't be normal to do that. As myth said the opposite is usually the case.

    Heh, I know how the OP feels. passed the exam (42.5 or thereabouts) and failed the coursework, for an overall 35% mark.

    Never had to do a repeat before, its all so alien to me!
