    She meant Ron ran the store with George for a unstated amount of time,then became an Auror

    How do you know what she meant? :p
    Although that is the only possible explanation, unless one interview is a fake. He couldn't have done both jobs at the same time.

    maybe he needed the extra few galleons. it's not unknown for people to hold down more than one job

    Yeah but not those jobs, that would be impossible :/ Unless he worked literally all the time, day and night.
