Plans for a field behind my house was appealed by An Taisce to An Bord Pleanála back in April 2006.
What are the expected wait times for BP to return a verdict?

    April 2006? or 2007?
If it's 2006 it should have been well back by now.

Check their site - search for your surname to find the case.
    http://www.pleanala.ie/
It gives you a date by which the decision should be made.

Thats highly irregular. ABP set a target decision timeframe of 4 months and it is very unusual for them to exceed this.

Check the dates and post back again

Well... April 2006 is when this was submitted and the website says...

    Lodged: 26-Apr-2006
Appellant(s): An Taisce South County Dublin Association
    Status: Active

But if I search for the reference number (which I had never done before...!) I get the following:

10/07/2007: Grant permission with revised conditions

So, they returned a result only last month - that's 1yr and 3mths!

So, it looks like I'm getting 8 houses and 26 apartments in my back-garden.
