Has anyone ever used this and does anyone know the actual bluetooth profile that is being used.

It seems as though the majority of phones do not support remote reading/writing of sms.

I have had several high end phones paired with both a Nuvi 660 and a Tomtom Go 910 and none of them seem to be able to support this function.

So what phones do and does anyone know of a Pocket PC or Symbian function that can enable this service.

    Thanks

I have used both SE K750 & K800i to my TomTom Go910 with it reading and sending texts . The K800 is not supposed to have full functionality , however on first pairing it works . And also reads the text to you (once you are using a computer voice).

I'm away for the weekend , So I'll expect my inbox to be full of PM's :D ..

There are quite a few on here who have purchased the same unit recently , so you should have no problems . Feel free to contact me though .

Actually , I'll stick up a TomTom Questions sticky , and follow it with other brand specific stickies as needed .

Tried it with the XDA Orbit and N95 neither work.

Alhtough both have the Sim Access Profile, it would be nice to know what profile that is actually used and could this be added.
