    1st Dun Laoghaire Festival of Traditional Music

    Dún Laoghaire’s very own traditional music festival takes place this August Bank Holiday weekend at the Pavilion Theatre and The Gastropub Company, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, from Friday to Sunday, 3-5 August.

    Opening Concert – Fri 3rd August @ 8pm

    1st half: Róisín Elsafty (traditional song) & Siobhán Armstrong (harp)

    2nd half: The Tap Room Trio – Harry Bradley (flute), Jesse Smith (fiddle), John Blake (guitar)

    Followed by a post-gig session @ The Gastropub Company: Dermot Burke (fiddle), Domhnall Banks (flute), Paddy McEvoy (guitar)

    Sat 4th August @ 1pm: The Session

    An interactive traditional music show for children with Robbie Harris (bodhrán/percussion), Emer Mayock (flute), Donal Siggins (bouzouki), Breda Mayock (song) and Colin Ryan (dancer).

    3 -5pm session @ The Gastropub Company: Dermot Burke (fiddle), Seán O Broin (flute), Paddy McEvoy (guitar)

    Sat 4th August @ 8pm: Frankie Gavin (fiddle) & Máirtín O’Connor (accordion)

    Followed by a post-gig session @ The Gastropub Company, 10pm til closing: Conor McEvoy (fiddle), Domhnall Banks (flute), Aoileann Nic Aogáin (concertina)
