What's New At The Lane?

There have been a number of changes and improvements carried out at White Hart Lane over the close-season that supporters will notice when they return to the Stadium for our pre-season fixture against Torino and the first home game of the new campaign.

The former location of the Park Lane Ticket Office now houses the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, while you will also note that Whites and the Ball Court have been demolished, which has enabled the Club to improve access to the West Stand for supporters using Gangways 13-16 inclusive in the West Lower and 5-8 inc in the West Upper.

The two staircases leading up to the hospitality areas in the West Stand have also been refurbished to increase ease of access to the lounges, while the female toilet provision on the West Upper concourse has been more than doubled.

On the media front, the outside broadcast location has been increased in area from 600 to over 1,000 sq metres, while in line with a requirement for a greater number of commentary positions, a new low level gantry has been installed in the East Stand, providing a broadcasting area for 30 commentators in line with Premier League requirements.

To the rear of the Press working area in the West Stand there is the new home of the Learning Centre (previously Study Support), with a classroom, teacher's office and breakout room developed in what is a greatly enhanced facility for the students.

Within the Lane there has been the creation of a new Executive Membership Lounge for the season called Highlights Club. Formerly known as Highlights 4, the venue situated in the South East corner of the ground has undergone a complete refurbishment with new flooring, ceiling and bar area put in place – plus audio-visual facilities.

A similar refurbishment has taken place in the Bill Nicholson Suite on the third floor of the West Stand, which is home to the memorabilia from the career of our greatest manager.

Also set to be introduced next season are the very latest in LED perimeter advertising, which will be put in place in front of the North, South and West Stands.

All sounds lovely, but how about they do something genuine to improve the supporters experience?

How about a functioning ticket office?

I hate those LED boardings, very distracting! Hopefully wont have lots of animated images.
