Frequent Flyer Miles

Can you apply for airmiles retrospectively? Also, what if you travel different airlines and they are not part of the same alliance? Is there a scheme where you can count all airmiles together regardless of carrier and their affilliations?

That all depends who you are with! Though i doubt if you fly with someone who does not recognise your airmiles that you can still claim them.

It depends on the frequent flyer program in question. Some will let you claim retrospectively, some will not.

And no, there is no universal scheme for all carriers.

You have 6 months with BA to claim miles.
I don't know about the others.
But if your Frequent flyer membership number is on your ticket, they should be credited automatically within a week or so.

You cannot transfer miles between alliances.
