Fan problems

I've got two problems, oh how I hate fans.

First problem, I'm in the middle of building my computer, I've got everything installed but for some reason the fan on my case wont work. I daresay it's because I've connected it wrong to the mobo. I've listed my mobo, case and psu below.

If anyone could tell me where to connect it to get it to work I would be very appreciative.

Second problem. My PSU's fan makes an unbelievably annoying whirring noise. It's unlike any fan noise I've ever heard before, it's more like a squeak than a normal fan noise which I'm thinking can't be right. Has anyone had any experience with the same fan as me?

The fan seems to be going full pelt from the second I turn the computer on.

EVGA nForce 680i LT SLI, Socket-775, GbLAN, DDR2, SATAII, ATX, 2xPCI-Ex16

    Cooler Master Real Power 450W w/Power indicator, 2xSATA, 20/24pin

1 PCS 337432 APLUS Case CS-188AF, ATX, Black, 250mm Blue Fan, (Without PSU)

What fans are they? three pin or 4 pin? Im guessing 3 cause your putting them on the motherboard...

ok em about the psu fan most likely it could be the fan is hitting off something or rubbing off something inside the psu.. you could open it and check maybe? If you are doing leave the PSU off for like a day before hand

Dont open the psu. Even when turned off you can still get a discharge many days after its turned off. Plus you loose your warrenty. just take it out and have a look inside. if there seems to be nothing blocking the fan simply RMA it back to where you got it. As havinf a psu with no fan is a very bad thing as it will start to overheat and the voltages will be all over the place.

Yeah it's an odd noise coming from the PSU I would RMA it.

As for the case fan itself maybe its an indicator of something wrong with the PSU not delivering the proper juice to the motherboard but thats just a wild guess.
