Didn't see this posted anywhere else on the Heroes forum so here it is.

Kevin Smith is oficially onboard to direct one of the Heroes Origins eps. Based on his most recent output I can't say if this is a good or a bad thing, but it 'could' be great.

    Meh.

While I enjoy the 'Jay and Silent Bob Films', is he actually capable of doing anything else? I've not seen Jersy Girl - but then I've absolutely no desire to either.

He seems to get attached to a lot random comic-book related projects for a while in order to build up a buzz with the geeks and fan-boys(-and-girls).

I would absolutely love if they put Jay in it as a new owner of super powers

Hear, hear. Needless, opportunistic schmuck with all the necessity of the "Tarrantino directed this 30 second clip" hype that surrounded Sin City before it came out.

Well I think it will be a real test of Smith's ability as a director, this is comic book type material so it should be right up his alley. But if he messes up then its back to doing Jay & Silent Bob stuff for Kevin.

    Snake ;)

Haha. You just reminded me about a video I saw today where someone basically asked Kevin Smith that question at a convention.
