No decision here surely? He almost certainly has a flush alright but it could be Q high just as easily as A high

fold, he made his straight on the river.

    call

i dont like the flop raise or the turn raise, both much too small.
either make a decent raise, 10 on the flop and 20 on the turn or else flat call his stupid 1 bets

agree with md why raise so little?

    Call in a heartbeat
and as above you raised far too little
were you worried about your hand strength or did you want to keep him in it?

I guess i was being results orientated, when he pushed i taught to myself he has the nut flush, hed hardly do this with a bluff, at the time he just snap called the raises and pushed the river nearly before the river card dropped. Anyway i just felt so like it was a flush and was worried about the nut flush and i guess thats just MUBS and more often ill see smaller flushes.

On the RR'ing him, id like to hear opinions from the people who felt i didnt raise enough, i like to build a pot with FD and play them hard but i wouldnt normally bet the pot so should i raise the pot, i didnt feel i needed to bet the pot because im not worried about draws and he might fold a smaller flush that i could get paid on and i didnt see the point in building a big pot by the river with a draw and the pot would have been around the $70 mark by the river if i bet $10 and $20 on flop and turn. I can understanding wanting to do this with a made hand but is it wise with a draw?

Just to note normally i try and be consistent in my betting sizes, and id usually bet $6 into and $8 flop regardless of wheter i hit or not and bet somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 on the turn wheter i have a FD, Trips, Set, Overcards. Of course ill mix it up with c/r and sometimes pot size bets if i have notes suggesting there a calling station but in general i keep my betsizes around that size so on the turn i might bet anywhere from $10 - $15 into a $18 pot depending on the situation/villain.

Edit i agree i probably should have raised the flop to $6 but is it nit picking between $5-$6, also if im way off here what are the reasons to raise more, what do we expect him to call with and fold

Thats quite some feat for online :)

Put it this way, would you instapush the river if you had the nut flush or try get some value?

Put it this way, if you know/think that most players would think you would value bet with the nuts whats the point in doing it? I will often push the river like this if I think the player I am playing has a hand he wont fold like a smaller flush because he thinks I would only do this with a strong non nuts hand or a bluff

Against a argressive player who i deem to be fairly week i'll always lead with a fairly strong FD, this gives me the option of getting the pot without the made flush, if i hit the the flush and so does he im fairly sure he is a fish draw to a weak flush and im getting his hole stack...

Drunken 2nd post, i like it!!

i cannot understand this, whats wrong, i presume you got all his money, you got it and thats it. if he has the nut flush he has made a very bad move, as he couldnt put you on a flush draw as well. so i reckon he has the ace of hearts in his hand but not the flush. thats the target achieved. nothing wrong with what you did in this play.

i was under the impression he lost the hand.

I did lose to the Nut Flush btw but ive accepted that i was just thinking results based and should be happy to get it all in. But what im asking now is about my rr on flop and turn, a couple of people didnt like it but i dont have a made hand so should i be building a pot, if hes going to fold bottom pair hell surely fold to $5 just as quick as $8 and i dont need to protect against a draw because he cant outdraw me when i only have K high so im looking for the reasons why i should rr more here as this is what i typically raise although i usually bet $6 into an $8 pot. Anyway ive discussed this more in my previous posts so id be interested in comments from the people who taught i didnt raise enough?
