I was in my friends house earlier installing some crap for him and noticed what I believe to be a virus.
Problem is, I ended the process before I saved the pics of the task manager and i can't remember the three letters of the thingy.
His internet was down, so I couldn't download hi-jack this.

Could someone have a look at the attached pics and let me know if there is anything there that shouldn't be.
    Thanks.

If you could get HijackThis onto his PC with a usb key or something we could tell for sure and fix it.

Why is his internet down? Some problem with his ISP?

Just go over tomorrow with Hijackthis on a USB stick. If his internet is down there's not to much to worry about anyway.

If you get the net up and running for him again - www.hijackthis.de has a box where you can paste the scan results and check immediately what's wrong.

Install and scan with some of these free AV http://www.thefreecountry.com/security/antivirus.shtml Then uninstall them leaving just AVG.

Or just do this Terry if you want, which might be easier. Update(if possible) any security programs he has on his PC, eg : AVG Anti-Spyware, AVG Anti-virus, or anything like that. Then reboot the PC into Safe Mode and do a full system scan and quarantine everything it finds.

That will probably do the job, although getting HijackThis onto it would be a far better option, just don't fix anything yourself.

    Thanks folks.
He has norton security suite, which I tried to talk him into getting rid of, but he wouldn't. Said he paid €100 for it a few weeks back.
Yeah, I'll just bring over hi-jack this tomorrow.
His net is down because of his SP. They're sending an engineer out sometime in the next few months.
