I ordered the skype phone thingys from ibood last week, but i never got a confirmation email and it isn't showing up on my list of previous orders on the website. They did take the money from my credit card.. this happen to anyone else? Where do I stand? Some bargain that was.. buy two, get none at all :)

Yes, many people have experienced problems with iBOOD. For the most part, the problem is that they are just so. darn. slow. in sending both confirmation eMalis and the product you ordered. I wouldn't be too worried about not receiving your goods at this stage. The last time I ordered off them I think it was 11 days before I got a confirmation eMail and 3 weeks before I got my goods.

They like to give their customers the 'gift' of extended anticipation.

Oh yes, I've experienced the gift before from ibood :) I wasn't expecting next day/week delivery, but any time I ordered from them in the past it at least showed up in my previous orders section and I got an initial confirmation email!

Yes - they're usually extremely slow.... but that's with delivery. If you haven't received a confirmation email I'd contact them.

If you need to get in touch with them, telephone is your best option. The number is: +31(0)20 681 13 88.

Last month I placed an order, which I cancelled immediately as I discovered that it was unsuitable. I contacted them via email... heard nothing back, mailed again... still nothing. A week later I received an email confirming that the item had been shipped! I then called the number above - their customer services dealt with it immediately and arranged for return and full refund.

It's now two weeks later, the item has been returned, but still no refund... talk about slow!!

My understanding of the way iBood works, is that they don't actually stock any of the items they sell on their site. They seem to act as a portal for other vendors.

This means that they usually don't place their order with the vendor until all payments have been received from other customers, so it sometimes takes quite a while for items to be dispatched. This, combined with their slow delivery method, means that when you order something from them you should just give them 2 or 3 weeks before starting to worry about it.

You have to pay by creidt card dont you? Payment should clear straight away.

They also have limited numbers so they know what voulmes they deal with.

I've used them once. No problems. Got item delivered in a week and confirmation email recived 2 weeks later
