Having a nightmare doing this, basically nobody in Blanch (my area) seems to do 3V online credit card acount top ups (so that nobody responds with anywhere ive already been, its best i tell the story/mention the disaster its been trying to acquire the top up)

I was told Easons do it. Staff there said no, directed me to Spar (the one beside Heaven nightclub/Apache), no luck either, they said Carpenterstown Spar do it. Rather than walk half way across the world to there went to Permanent TSB in the centre, who, despite issuing the cards, bizarrely dont offer a top up service, and they were absoloutely adamant that the Spar Id just come from do the top ups and have done so for ages, went back to double check and they are adamant they dont do it   Guy in TSB said Mace in the village did it at some stage as well. Another walk, another no luck. So I head off on my trek to Carpenterstow Spar, where, although the shop does the top ups, their machine is currently broken and unlikely to be fixed for a few days yet   :D:( Honestly, after all that i wasnt sure whether to laugh, cry or drive a car through the window

So, does anyone have any possibly truthful suggestions of where else in D15 I can do it, or else somewhere in town (or somewhere between here and town on the Navan Rd/Cabra/Phibsboro 38 or 39 bus route) that is actually likely to have it, and preferably somewhere open until at least 7:30 pm and preferably 9pm tomorrow evening, otherwise ill have to wait until Wednesday (off work, only advantage of working 10 hrs per day is a week split in two halves with weekend and Wed off :) )

A frustrated and very tired thank you......

and btw dont be getting narky about where this has been put. None of the financial forums are relevant to this question, and as for my area, the regionalisation of the boards is so ridicilious Ive a choice of East, North Dublin and Dublin City. Honestly, if i see one "Dublin forum tbh" comment, grow up ffs :D What do you want, a post in each one for a matter that needs resolving urgently?

And this is why we should have Dublin15 forum :)

Shane, have you rang up 3v and asked them what places do it?

On the advice of several folks I called at 6 different shops yesterday, all recommending the next, none mentioning any of the above mentioned

brim4brim- has nothing to do with AIB. Anyway, my online yokey is disabled after attempting a credit top up after a few beers :)

After all that tbh Im waiting until tomorrow, I cant be arsed what with summer having returned but thanks anyway :D

Well, Parslickstown isnt far away, but after a long hot day when the skangs who arent in work have been relaxing with a gullt full of cold dutchies, Id be off my nut to walk up there alone late in the evening with 350 euro in my pocket  :D

He was suggesting an alternative: https://www.wirecard.com
    It may not suit...

check on their website for places to buy them
Thaed already did and he didn't mention it... Answer given...From the source... Odd how that happens, innit?

Great! Thanks for that wirecard info to the two who posted about it (brim4brim and Karoma). Thats exactly what I've been looking for. I'm sick of using 3v and last week I got a laser card thinking I could use it online on sites with the maestro logo, how wrong I was. nice ;)
