    Hey Folks,

Looking at Play.com there are 2 Godfather DVD Boxsets:
    http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype=r2alldvd&searchstring=godfather&page=search&pa=search

The Red Boxset is 4 discs and costs more than the older black boxed one which is 5 discs. It doesn't really say what the difference is between the two. I've never seen these movies and was considering getting a boxset, but which one do I go for. Does anyone know what the difference is?

The red box appears to be just the films, the black box has a fifth DVD with bonus features. Most of the following are probably on that disc:
    Special Features
    • Director's Commentary on all films
    • Godfather Documentaries: 'Francis Coppola's Notebook' (from book to screen), 'On Location', 'The Godfather Family' (73 mins), 'Behind The Scenes 1971', 'The Cinematography of The Godfather', 'Coppola and Puzo on Screenwriting', and two featurettes on the music of the Godfather
    • Additional Scenes
    • Storyboards from II and III
    • Character, Cast and Filmmaker Bios
    • Academy Award acceptance speeches
    • Photo Galleries
    • Theatrical Trailers

It's cheaper and has more stuff, I'd buy the black one.

The black box seems to still be on its summer sale price, but the red one has gone back up to its usual price. (it was €15.49 at one stage!)
Definitely go for the black one, that's a pretty sweet deal.

Money isn't an issue, I just wanted to know what the difference was and which of the two is the one to go for. Thanks though.
